curtain with attached valance and pinch pleat

my friends after curtains attached valance plus pinch pleat, abit much for me but love a challenge
she has bought fabric, lining and pinch pleat tape but do i need to ditch the tape and hand make the pleats otherwise the tape will need to be sew through all the layers !
she saw the display in Dunelm need to go and have a look there

Definately ditch the tape, my dear,

Totally agree with Enid..... You can't even put the pleats where you want them with tape.

Absolutely no tape, buckram only! Don't forget you will have quite thick layers to machine through the pleats.
