All the same length or not?

Postby Mossy on Wed Mar 10, 2010 1:06 pm

Hi all

I am just about to make 3 romans for 3 windows, all on one wall. The windows all vary very slightly in length so the finished drops measure 120.5, 121 and 121.5. Should I make them all the same length using the 120.5 measurement or make each blind to the exact length required per window.

Is it a toss up between the blinds fitting the window perfectly or having them all uniform when pulled up?

Does this make any sense at all???!!!

Any thoughts appreciated.

I would make each one to the correct length otherwise they won't fit properly when they're down. There is so little difference in the lengths that when they're up, the difference in lengths really won't show.

If they are outside recess blinds and the sills are level, I would make them the same, but if inside, then yes, they have to fit.

Thanks for your reply Pen.

The blinds are to be fitted inside the recess so will make them to fit each window.
